A regular place to dance and connect
WestieHive brings local West Coast Swing dancers together twice a month at DF Dance Studio. Take a class, put what you learn into practice, and spend time with people who share your interest in dancing.
You do not need to bring a partner or know everyone in the room. Come solo, as a couple, or with friends. If it is your first visit, the beginner class is a good place to start.

Can I come if I have never danced West Coast Swing?
Yes. Start with the beginner class at 8 PM, then stay for social dancing from 9 PM to midnight. You do not need a partner.
What does the $15 admission include?
General admission includes a WCS class and the WestieHive social. Beginner and intermediate classes run at the same time, from 8–9 PM; choose the level that suits you. The social runs from 9 PM to midnight.
When and where is WestieHive?
WestieHive takes place on the 1st and 3rd Friday at DF Dance Studio, 2978 S State St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115. Check the live listings and Instagram for current updates before heading out.
Can I pay at the door?
Yes. General admission, Student Pass, and Y2K Pass options are available at check-in. You can also buy $15 general admission online through Mindbody.
Who can use Student or Y2K pricing?
The Y2K Pass is for dancers ages 18–24. Student and Y2K passes cost $8 before 9 PM and $10 at 9 PM and after, and are available at the door. For Student Pass eligibility details, text 801-466-0490.
